Flying Wing Nutz

The Flying Wing Nutz Squadron of West Virginia is a chartered club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).  AMA is the world's largest sport aviation organization, representing a membership of more than 170,000 from every walk of life, income level, and age group.  It is a self-supporting, non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote model aviation as a recognized sport and recreational activity.  Some of the valuable services AMA offers to its chartered clubs are official contest sanctioning, liability insurance, and assistance with club flying sites.  Chartered in 2002, the Wing Nutz club is one of more than 2,500 model aircraft clubs across the country.

We are always looking for new members to join us.  Please review our membership page or contact one of us if you are interested in joining or if you just want to stop by. If you have never flown before, we would be happy to work with you to establish some introductory flight lessons with an instructor free of charge.

We recently added an FPV race course, so if that interest you please feel free to contact us and come fly.
